SFS relay with forcibly guided contacts

30 Mar 2007
SFS Relay

Not only for consumer products but for all products in our technological age, the demand for miniaturization coupled with increasing functionality is omnipresent.

For electromechanical components, the result is optimised construction balanced with a minimal total power loss. Panasonic Electric Works has forged the way in the past, especially for safety related applications.

The salient quality of our vanguard SF relays (SF2D, SF3, SF4D und SFN4D) is their low height. Now, Panasonic Electric Works offers the SFS (slim type) relay with an optimised mounting area. The relay is available as a 4-pole (2a2b or 3a1b / a: normally open contact / b: normally closed contact) or 6-pole (5a1b, 4a2b or 3a3b) type and has a mounting height of 24 mm with a mounting area of 520 mm2 or 650 mm2. Combined with a coil power consumption of 360mW (4-pole type) or 500mW (6-pole type), the SFS relay has responded to the demands of the market to perfectly round off the SF product family.

The forcibly guided relay type A, in accordance with EN50205, achieves an electrical lifetime of more than 100,000 operations at 250V AC / 6A (AC 1). An LED indication type as well as a socket for PCB or DIN-rail mounting are also available. Consequently, you can rest assured that Panasonic Electric Works' SF relay family will continue to safely surmount the challenges with which technology confronts us.
