Special function expansion cassettes, e.g. memory expansion, analogue I/O or high-speed counter expansion cassettes make the FP-X Series PLCs flexible and enable users to configure the controller according to their application needs.
No additional space is required for the expansion cassettes: you just plug them into the CPU unit.
NEW: I/O Cassette AFPX-IN4T3
The new I/O cassette has 4 DC inputs and 3 NPN, 0.3A transistor outputs, which are ideal for adding a small number of I/O points without generating waste. One cassette can be added to the C14 CPUs; 2 cassettes can be added to the C30/C60 CPUs.
NEW: RS485 communication cassette AFPX-COM6
Like all the other expansion cassettes, the new AFPX-COM6 is extremely small. It features 2 insulated, reliable RS485 ports that can communicate simultaneously at up to 115kbps and a distance of 1,200m.

- AFPX-COM3: 1-channel RS485 / RS422 (insulated)

- AFPX-COM5: 1-channel RS232C + 1 channel Ethernet 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX
- AFPX-COM6: 2-channel RS485 (insulated)

- AFPX-TR8: 8 outputs, transistor NPN 0.3A
