MINAS A5 servo drives are highly dynamic and offer the STO (safe torque off) safety function in conformance with the definitive safety standards.

The brand-new series, which is even more compact than its MINAS A4 predecessor, is perfectly suited for highly dynamic drive applications, which, besides flexibility, require above all a short response time for the entire system. The servo drive's 2000Hz sampling rate makes such impressive response times possible . Moreover, the driving system boasts an encoder resolution of 20 bits, which is excellent when compared to other products. The basic frequency's maximum value of 4MHz opens up possibilities for pick-and-place applications and labeling machines that were previously unimaginable. The motors now fulfill the requirements for the IP67 degree of protection as delivered and are therefore well suited for service in severe environments.
The functionality of Panaterm-the software used for configuration, simulation, commissioning and diagnosis-has been expanded drastically. You can download version 5.0 free of charge from our Web site.
