A high-performance model for high-speed operation Scanning time of 1ms for 20k steps. With an operating speed at the top of its class, super high-speed processing is made possible. The result is a dramatically decreased tact time and high-speed device. Large programming capacity of up to 120k steps Large programming capacities of 60k and 120k are available, depending on the model. Combine modules like building blocks I/O units, intelligent units, power supply units and backplanes can be used together for the FP2 and the FP2SH. I/O units can be located anywhere on the backplane. Optional small PC card is also available The small PC card is available for programming backup or data memory expansion. This allows you to process great amounts of data. Built-in comment and real-time clock functions These functions, optional with the FP2, are built right into the FP2SH.

Ethernet-LAN module FP2-ET1
|
|
The FP2 ET-LAN module enables data exchange between different types of PLCs with a vendor-independent protocol and a short processing time. TCP/IP establishes logical point-to-point communication between two devices and provides the basis for exchanging information among all areas of production. You can connect 8 Ethernet segments with each other at a transmission speed of up to 100Mbits/s. Three communication interface types are supported: 10 BASE 5, 10 BASE-T, 100 BASE-TX.

FP2 MEWNET-VE Link Unit FP2-VE

With the FP2 MEWNET-VE Link Unit, you can connect PLCs controlled by an FP2SH CPU to our proprietary MEWNET network in VE mode and to other manufacturers' devices in the FL-net network.
FL-net is an increasingly popular, open technology based on industrial Ethernet and endorsed by the Japan Electrical Manufacturers' Association. In contrast to standard Ethernet, FL-net guarantees transmission times for data transfer, i.e. real-time data transmission is realized by employing FA link protocol on top of UDP/IP, yielding communication with a baud rate of 10Mbps.

Fieldbus Master Units for PROFIBUS DP, CANopen and DeviceNet

The expansion Fieldbus Master Units (FMU) allow you to integrate FP2 PLCs as Master into your network with a maximum degree of flexibility. The units are available for three bus systems: PROFIBUS, DeviceNet and CANopen. For each network type, ready-made function libraries are available for the programming software Control FPWIN Pro. These libraries drastically shorten the time needed to develop your applications, and consequently save valuable human resource costs.
